Poor Western Civ. II =\

LOL! I feel sure that I did poorly on the test. But I had already figured out that I needed about 50% on it...because the last test is going to be open-book, open-notes...so it will be an easy A and I already have a close to 100% average in the class. So...I decided not to worry too much about not having very much time to study.=) I do wish I had studied more, though, because I would have liked to understand the material. Maybe I'll have time to do that.
Meanwhile, I have some reading and papers due for class tomorrow.=) I played for BSF again tonight because the normal sub ended up being at visitation for her grandmother who died. I was a little more tired this evening, unfortunately. But such is life.=) I'm sure I'll be refreshed and ready for choir practice tomorrow. LOL! Okay, so I don't really feel that way...singing with the adult choir is always very physically draining, but it's spiritually and emotionally uplifting, so it's more than worth it...plus, might that be what Scripture means when it refers to "a sacrifice of praise"? It's worth it to praise the Lord...and since that's one of our purposes as people, doing it leads to a greater sense of fulfillment than many or all of the other things I do in the day.=)
My microbiology classroom is FREEZING cold. I was still extremely cold wearing a long, denim jumper, a long sleeved rayon shirt, a sweater, and a jacket! I kept having to sit on my hands to warm them--which is difficult to do while taking notes furiously! You should try it sometime. But I'll only have two more times in that classroom before I will, most likely, be done with biology forever. And I was just starting to get it, too...
My next several days look...promising somehow. LOL!
Tomorrow:
8-10 Work
10:45-12:00 Try to stay awake in World Literature II (I hope to turn in two more papers in that class tomorrow...papers I need to write tonight)
12:00-1:45 Find food, eat, sleep, read...???
1:45-3:00 Try to stay awake in American Literature II (I need to write about forty pages for this class before Wednesday, so that should be fun...especially since I'll still need to study for the exam, which I still don't really understand)
3:00-6:45 Go home, eat, prepare for choir, think about schoolwork, visit LiveJournal and various web sites, etc.
7:00-9:00 Church choir practices
9:10-? Homework...maybe? LOL! I doubt it...
Thursday
8-11 Work
11:15-2:10 Freeze to death/fall asleep in Microbiology (since we'll only be reviewing, I doubt we'll be in class much more than an hour)
2:10-3:15 Find food and think about studying
3:15-4:30 Western Civilizations II--trying to stay awake...the teacher will talk about terrorism, some readings, and our open book, open notes final exam of thirty multiple choice questions (LOL!)
4:30-5:10 Drive home
5:10-5:45 Eat, etc.
6:15-6:45 Wellness Concepts Final (I should study for that...especially since I need to get about 30% on it in order to get an A in the class. Yes, I'm being sarcastic--but pleasantly so.)
6:45-7:00 Go home
7:00-? Maybe work on homework...like a take-home final that I'll have received in World Literature II and also on studying for American Literature II (and finishing the journal assignments because I'm sure I won't have them done by then) as well as studying for Microbiology...because, even though I don't think I need it (if I calculated correctly, I need about 75% on the test to get an A in the class), I'd like to get a high A.=)
Friday
8-3 Work
Shop for a shower
7:00 Skip graduation ceremony (LOL!) that would have costed me close to $60.00 to participate in a boring, mostly meaningless (to me) event
7:30 Attend a shower
Saturday
Nothing?! I bet you can guess what I'll be doing...SLEEPING, yes!
Homework? Maybe
Fixing dinner is on the agenda, however.
Sunday
9:30 Music with 1st through 4th graders at church
9:30-10:30 Substitute teach 5th and 6th grade Sunday school class at church
9:30-10:30 Skip nursery duty...I guess my parents will manage. However, I'll miss the interaction with the babies.=(
10:30-10:45 If neither choir is doing anything, then I'll be free during this time!
10:45-12:00 Morning church service
12:15-4:15 Homework, Bible study, nap...all of which are to be after lunch
4:15-4:40 Take my 13 y.o. brother to Youth Group
4:40-5:35 Find something productive to do...probably eat...
5:35-6:00 Pick up 13 y.o. brother and go to church
6:00-7:00 Church service
7:00-8:00 Eat with church people after church
8:00 Head home and work on homework...oh, wait...maybe not...because then I'll be going into the week of finals and I have NOTHING to do on Monday!=) Wow! However, I'll have two finals on Tuesday and two on Wednesday...so I'll work on studying for them soon if I'm smart (or wise, I suppose).
Okay, so maybe I'm not quite as busy as I thought...but prep for all of that is necessary. And trying to remember it can be hard. But that's okay; now that I've got it written down, maybe I can just post it somewhere to remind myself. Now: Should I read my BSF notes or work on my homework for tomorrow's classes?;-) Hard decision...LOL!
