songofjoy02I'm tired. =) Ha-ha. But I didn't do any work. We've got "The [?] Two Towers" on right now. I have to admit that I don't really like suspenseful movies. Or at least, not that level of suspense...
Well, for today we went to my grandparents' house. The community college gave all the students a day off. It was strange because the schedule just said that the offices were closed, and I didn't know if that meant that only students and teachers would be there or if that meant EVERYONE would be gone (since those categories were both mentioned in reference to the Thanksgiving break), so I had to ask...
I still have homework to do. This week's chapter of biology is on atoms and molecules, with a little intro to the periodic table. I asked my mom lots of questions, and she explained everything quite to my satisfaction. I like to understand things well enough to be able to use precise terminology, but I'm still not there...I'm not done with the chapter, either. I need to read a couple other text books...stuff I should already have finished, but which I didn't really find that enjoyable. I like to agree or disagree strongly with whatever is presented because a greater reaction helps me remember things better.
Well, that's all for today. I was reading through some things I'd written not too long ago, and recalled the passion I had felt in exhorting Christians to live as they should. In a way, I feel as if that passion is waning...I want it back! But without pride....=\
