Can I?

Can I learn Spanish well enough to communicate with people effectively, on a heart-to-heart basis? I know I need to learn Spanish either way.

I'm not a very consistent person...

The reason I haven't replied to all comments lately or commented with great frequency in people's journals (not to imply that I ever do, really, though) is that I'm working on a web site from my trip to Ireland.=) I think the people who went with me will enjoy it, but I hope a lot of other people enjoy it, too. I'm not sure how long this is going to take, esp. since I've really been working on it for a while now. But I'm giving it more time and energy now, so I'm hoping that things will be done sometime in the next several days.=)
