I'm finally going to bed..but not because I'm really done with homework...it's more that I have to get up in the morning, and I am very tired. At least I slept a couple of hours this afternoon, but it doesn't feel like I did! My joy is not particularly great that I need to rise in about four hours...
What do you all think?
Oct. 6th, 2003 12:41 pmI have to write an "explaining essay" (rough draft due Wednesday)...and the ideas my teacher gave us are to explain a concept, why I have chosen a particular path, or why I do (or do not) participate in a particular activity. Flirting immediately jumped to my mind...then dating and courtship. That really fits the description because she wants it to be something we've considered fully, something that has a new twist that makes the topic our own. So I'm trying to decide...but do you all have any ideas? I work tomorrow...but I guess I can be thinking about it while I'm working. And my history test will be over after tonight. LOL! I need to study for it NOW! I also need to study for my science test next week. But at this very moment, I need to be "storyboarding" for my ETEC PowerPoint project, which will be about taxonomy. Should be fun...I decided to work on the PowerPoint before storyboarding, even though that's kind of the reverse of how it should be. I thought it would be easier to rearrange things electronically than on paper, though.
So that's what is happening now...I should work on it. I would like to get good grades in all of my classes, but how to prioritize is just not very clear.

This is just something I'm looking over as I brainstorm ideas for that rough draft that is due Wednesday. I'm really trying to imagine how that would go over with my peers and with my teacher! LOL! It could be interesting. I wonder if it would be appropriate to use Scripture...probably not. But I could talk about Scriptural principles and refer to them (very much paraphrased) as my own opinions, since they have become that. I really wonder what kind of grade she would give me. I'm thinking that she may be a Christian. And I'm even more certain that the guy I mentioned before (either here or at Mindsay) is a Christian. LOL! My reason for thinking that is almost comical...don't know why.
Oh, I took my history test, and I was not as confident as I would have liked to have been on a few of the questions. But there was a bonus question, and I have a film review to do for extra credit, so hopefully I'm in good shape.=\
