Inspired by a friend's TV post...
May. 25th, 2006 11:50 pmMy brother told me tonight that the AI finale made headlines in entertainment news and that there were more votes cast for this event than were cast for any presidential election. Of course, it is quite easy for the same people to vote multiple times, so maybe we'd have more political votes if we weren't so strict on that.;-) It is estimated that one out of five adults regularly watch AI, a fact which I find very easy to believe--in fact, I'm inclined to think that it's closer to four and a half out of five. But that's just because I hear about it everywhere I turn. To my knowledge, I've never watched it. My parents have never been TV fanatics. Until I was twelve, we had no means of watching TV or videos. Since then, we have developed a movie watching habit, but we still don't watch TV much...and I'm not really a big fan, anyway. Most of the time, I think books are more interesting. But that doesn't seem to be a majority point of view in the United States, so I ask:
How much TV do you all watch? Just out of curiosity, really...
I guess I'm mostly wondering if any of you out there feel as clueless as I do when someone mentions a show. LOL!
