An Update?
Oct. 7th, 2005 12:55 amMy new sister-in-law is getting to visit her new husband tomorrow and over the weekend.=) They are both very excited and happy about that. After hearing yesterday that she was going to go, I decided that finishing the wedding photo album needed to become a priority. So, guess what my mom and I did all afternoon and evening?;-) LOL! I was quite amazed and glad that we were able to finish by about ten this evening. Now all Christie has to do is come and pick it up before she leaves.
Let's see...I mentioned the air show yesterday. I also went to children's choir (junior choir, they call it) yesterday evening. The kids did very well and I absolutely love the music. The director for this year is a lady I've worked with in junior choir during my first two years of helping.=) She always does an excellent job of picking fun, good music that actually can incorporate instruments that some of the kids in the choir play.=) So it's great.
Adult choir at church also began last night and the new director is wonderful! I figured he was going to give us a run for our money as far as working us to death, but he actually started off with a bit of humor--specifically targeting the concerns that this would be a "teaching choir" (and therefore not fun, of course). I figured that we would spend half of our evening doing warmups, but he was kind enough to have us sing through several songs (at least most of the way) and he worked on sticky parts. So we're going to be in good shape with this new director, too.=)
I guess that's all I can add for the moment...because I'm too tired not to go to bed.=)
