Superficiality Alert:
I am considering going out in public today--just to the grocery store, basically, but still...
I look horrible! It's not nearly as bad as it could be, but it's bad enough. My eyes have itched so badly for so long that I've rubbed them and done other things to them...that made the bags under my eyes swell and wrinkle. And there are other problems with my appearance...but we won't go into all of them. LOL! For once, I'm definitely NOT having a good day as far as looks. LOL! Seriously, though, I generally don't feel this bad about the way I look. I'm halfway tempted to post a picture...I know; I'm weird. What's new?

Okay, enough of that...

I'm still working on getting things in my room boxed up. Let me tell you: It's an overwhelming task. If I had realized when I was younger that note-taking and journaling would wind up being hobbies that would fill my shelves...I might have reconsidered. I started doing both most seriously when I was about twelve years old. Almost eleven years later, I'm definitely wishing that I had at least organized things along the way. So now I must depart to work through that stuff...

And then I will go shopping with my mom. I need to pick up wedding pictures I printed to do a small photo album for my brother and his wife. I know they're going to get a professional one, so I'm going to do something more personal/storyish, more like a scrapbook. I'll need to figure out what to use for it, though. Hopefully Wally World will have nice-looking supplies for this project. If not, the stuff will go on parchment in a three-ring binder. Surely there's something better-looking available, though.

We also need to go to the fabric store so that my mom can get material to reupholster the couch, which is in great need of reupholstery. And I need to go to Kohl's to get a new black sweater because the weather is beginning to turn cold and I need to have at least one black sweater. My old one was wearing out when I took it to Ireland and then it totally died while we were there--it went in the searing hot dryer! It's an excellent excuse to get a new one, though.

Okay, enough rambling for the moment...I had better scoot!
