songofjoy02: Me (Contemplative)
Langston Hughes is a good writer and all that, but does my teacher honestly expect us to answer each of five questions (thoroughly) for fourteen different pieces? Ack! I don't know if I can do that. Besides, I do have another article review to do for tomorrow...and I never actually did the things that I was supposed to do during spring break. I mean, what I'm doing tonight is stuff that should have been done long ago...and there's tons of other stuff I never actually did. I should have skipped church tonight, right? Nah. I figure that church should be a higher priority than school...and I'm glad I went. It really was a continuation of the celebration of the resurrection, because we "happened to be" on Isaiah 53 tonight. It was good!=D

So it's almost 2:30 A.M. And I'm still working on homework. My stuff with Langston Hughes as is as done as it's going to get. Now I'm working on summarizing an article on education...as I'm reading it. Difficult? No! But it is time-consuming...I am so NOT looking forward to tomorrow. I half-wish that I had one class less. But...it's all good because it means two degrees. Now I just have to remember to take the CAAP exam on April 16th. I'm always afraid of forgetting things like that.=\

Well..

It's 3:15 and I finally finished my article critique for Intro. to Ed. If I'm a good girl...well, I don't know. What's a good girl to do? Sleep or work on more homework? I have two or three papers that I should write for my morning class, but maybe those will wait until tomorrow night.=\ I have too much to do...Spring Break did not help! =D Oh, well. Procrastination is still a huge problem for me, it seems. Even so, I'm not sure what else I could have done...aside from making myself stay off-line, but then how would I do my schoolwork? That is quite a tough question, I think. But I'll be home tomorrow evening, so I'll have some time then...and I'll just have to crack down on myself so that I can finish this semester gloriously! I have a friend who works on each subject for an hour every day...if I could be so disciplined! LOL!

Hmm...

My boss never showed up today, so I didn't get the stuff in his office to finish one of the projects I'm working on. I hope I can get in there tomorrow, even though I'm not working tomorrow. Getting in 20 hours a week is impossible...I'm not even getting the fifteen I'm supposed to be working, but that's because of my ridiculous schedule. I just have three more weeks of observing in schools, though, and then I'll be able to "relax" or something like that.

My 3 y.o. brother really got into the bathrooms last week...flushing things down the toilet. So now my parents have taken their toilet out and removed the stuck objects...and then they had to go to the store to get parts to put the toilet back. Meanwhile, they decided to redo the floor in their bathroom. LOL! But seriously...I was shocked during the three days I was home all day because of spring break. Gabriel got into SO MUCH mischief! I asked my mom, "Does he normally do this?" Apparently, the bathroom issues are fairly new (at least in terms of frequency), but the mischief is very common. And I miss all that excitement while I'm attending classes...and I'm planning to quit school for a year. LOL!

I'm very relieved that school is going to be over in a month and a half. I'm not sure how many more short nights I can take. But of course I'm still procrastinating here about doing things that I'll be up all night TOMORROW night doing if I don't do them tonight...and there's really nothing keeping me. I guess I should go and do them.=D

I'm missing a bridal shower for a church girl on Thursday because of class...I do not like that, but I guess I did know that my class schedule would eventually interfere with something like that.=\ I hope there's a shower for the younger ladies to attend for her, because they usually schedule those more kindly for schedules like mine...but we shall see.
