Psalm 42

When you're feeling that God is far away (or that you're far away from Him) and it is not because of sin, read this psalm. Our pastor spoke on this yesterday morning, and it was so encouraging. When we feel that, way there is a reason...although we may not understand it. Sometimes it's the only way that God can teach us a certain thing. Also, our response under such a circumstance is to be...well, read the psalm to find out.;-) I had never thought about the psalm that way, and I was glad our pastor pointed out the theme of the entire psalm (also, he pointed out, it is a "maschil," or psalm of instruction).
