Digital Cameras
Nov. 23rd, 2002 07:54 pmI have a new digital camera, given to me by my dad for my 20th birthday yesterday, but I have a "slight" problem. My brother repartitioned (or something like that) our computer so that the software (Polaroid, PhotoMax Image Maker Software) thinks we have Windows NT, and says it isn't compatible, even though it IS supposed to be compatible with Windows XP (which we have, XPPro, in fact). Our diskette/floppy drive (whatever it's called) doesn't work, so I'd have to replace that before I could get and use an adapter to retrieve the pictures that way. Does anyone have any idea what I might to do make the software work? Or is there some other way I might be able to get the pictures? If I didn't provide enough information, I can get more info.:-) Anyway...just wondering. If you don't know, never mind. I'm going to try to convince my brother to change our operating system back to Windows 98 (but if the partitioning is the problem, I'm not even sure THAT will help). Hmm...here's the link to the camera info.: eBay.
